Jaspreet has been teaching for the past nine years. She has been serving as an Assistant Principal at a school in Calgary for the past four years and has taught math and science to students in grades 4-11. Jaspreet likes to provide learning opportunities to her students that are educational and fun at the same time. She has pursued academics at top universities in India, the United States, and Canada. During her educational pursuits, Jaspreet has interacted with people from various ethnic communities and cultural backgrounds. Jaspreet’s educational and research life has provided her with a varied and wide perspective. Jaspreet has a doctorate in neuroscience and as a researcher she has managed research labs and also mentored graduate and postgraduate students.
In her free time, Jaspreet likes to keep active by hiking in the mountains, card-making, abstract painting, and photography. Her other artistic goal is to learn how to play the guitar. As well, she is a huge science fiction fan and enjoys watching shows and movies and reading books in this genre.
