Patty has been teaching art and applied skills at Vancouver Board of Education for 6 years. She is currently a high school art department head at a mini school program that is tailored to students who are dedicated to leadership and social responsibility. As the art department head, Patty teaches a variety of art classes that use an array of mediums and techniques. She is known to create innovative projects that challenge students’ artistry and imagination.
Other than teaching, Patty is a published professional photographer. Her artworks can be seen in advertisement, magazine and public city art display, such as Make-Up Artist Magazine and Blanche Macdonald Centre campaign. Patty obtained her Master of Art degree in photography from University of Arts London in England. Through her studies, she is proficient in analogue, digital photography and darkroom processing.
